One of the things that can make teaching my level fours a challenge is the organization of the course.   I like to change things up from year to year...but still stay within the parameters of a curriculum.   This time of year is especially difficult since seniors are finishing up an enormous senior project, starting an Economics project, completing community service hours, working jobs, solidifying college plans and fighting (ok...I'm fighting it..they are welcoming it!) senioritis.

So I have chosen the theme of Emotions for the month of May.   This week we is POSITIVE week.  I chose the song Color Esperanza by Diego Torres, several "inspirational" youtube clips, and a short summary of Los Cuatro Acuerdos.   They are groaning on the outside, but enjoying it nonetheless.  :o)

Next week?   NEGATIVE week.  We are going to complain all week!!!  Estoy harta!  No puedo aguantarlo!!  I haven't come up with a song yet, so any suggestions would be appreciated!!  

The last week?   Así Es La Vida week (Such is Life).  Time for a little realism.  :o)  I'll let you know where we go with it!!
